Fancy a scale and polish before an occasion or in need of a deep periodontal cleaning?

Prices start from £12 per month

Sore gums or persistent bleeding while brushing or flossing may indicate a periodontal problem. Chronic gum disease can eventually lead to loss of teeth. Maintaining good oral hygiene is one of the most important things you can do for your teeth and gums. Deep cleaning sessions with our hygienist will keep the tartar build up to a minimum.

Our hygienist can help you learn good oral hygiene techniques and can help point out areas of your mouth that may require extra attention during brushing and flossing. Patients have direct access to our hygienist so they do not have to be registered or be seen by a dentist first.

Cfast is a simple, gentle, minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that corrects alignment issues with the top and bottom front six teeth, and can level and round out the arches, thus satisfying the needs of the vast majority of adult patients who seek orthodontic treatment.

The treatment takes 4-9 months to complete & our prices start from only £1500.

We offer flexible payment options.

Cfast uses clear orthodontic brackets and tooth-colored nickel-titanium wires. The treatment works  using clear aligners. Tooth movement is much more predictable and usually more than twice as quick.

The nickel-titanium wires put gentle pressure on the brackets to level and align the teeth with minimal discomfort to the patient. The gingiva follows this movement to achieve a fully aesthetic outcome.

Cfast is a fast, effective and affordable treatment when adults are seeking to correct their smiles. Because we do not claim to address major orthodontic issues, Cfast can be done very quickly, making it more affordable than all other orthodontic options.

Cfast takes less time than conventional orthodontics because it focuses only on the “social six”, the front teeth that most influence the smile. The process is further enhanced with the use of special nickel-titanium wires, which exert gentle pressure to force movement in the teeth.

With clear brackets and tooth-colored wires, Cfast is barely noticeable – and worn for only a fraction of the time compared to traditional braces.

Standard orthodontic mechanics are still involved with CFAST, but because it’s just the front teeth, the force required is minimal. The nickel-titanium wires exert mild pressure to force the teeth to move, and this is done without the need for severe tightening which causes the discomfort noted in conventional orthodontic treatments.

Wrinkle Relaxing and Dermal Fillers

For patients who wish to invigorate their appearance and prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles we offer consultations for wrinkle relaxing and offer a range of dermal filler treatments.

Dermal fillers are designed to improve and enhance facial aesthetics. Dermal facial fillers have also become a popular anti-ageing and rejuvenation treatment and are designed to restore the natural plumpness of young skin and can help to smooth the complexion by creating a youthful, fresh look. Dermal fillers are especially good for anyone who has deep lines, lines from smoking, any deep scars or depressions in the skin and anyone who would like to plump up their lips. It is as simple procedure best administered by a professionally trained health care professional.

Implants are one way of replacing missing teeth.

We have a number of flexible payment options to suit you.

Implants are a fixed option for replacing missing teeth. A screw is placed in the jaw bone to support a replacement tooth. This acts like the root of a natural tooth. Implants can also be used to support fixed bridges or dentures. A tooth implant doesn’t come loose like a denture can. Tooth implants also benefit general oral health because they do not have to be anchored to other teeth, like bridges.

Implant treatment normally has two stages. First, the implant is placed in the jaw. Then, once the jaw has healed, replacement teeth are attached to the implant. In some situations it is possible for temporary teeth to be attached to an implant at the time of fitting.

At Leith Walk Dental Practice, we are able to offer you full care for your dental implants from initial consultation, to the placement of the dental implant or implants, which will restore your smile. We will then help you in long term care for your dental implants.

Custom-made mouth guards are individually designed by your dentist and you get to pick the colour and design.

Our prices start from only £90.

Sports guard is a device worn over your teeth that protects them from blows to the face and head. Mouth guards are an important piece of athletic equipment for anyone participating in a sport that involves falls, body contact or flying equipment. This includes football, basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, skateboarding, gymnastics, mountain biking — any activity that might result in an injury to the mouth. Mouth guards typically cover the upper teeth, and are designed to protect against broken teeth, cut lips and other damage to your mouth. If you wear braces or other fixed dental appliances (such as a bridge) on your lower jaw, your dentist may suggest a mouth protector for these teeth as well.

Night guard is a device that protects the teeth during night grinding and helps in treating clicking and painful jaws. They are available under the NHS as well as privately.

Custom-made mouth guards are individually designed by your dentist and you get to pick the colour and design. These guards provide the most comfortable fit and best protection. Your dentist makes an impression of your teeth and then constructs the mouth guard over a model of them.
